Summer Rail Trip 2016

Phu Yen - Da Nang - Hoi An - Quang Binh

I've never traveled by train before, then I decided to join this trip which transported totally on railway at night to save the staying fee. Our jouney started from Saigon to Phu Yen, Da Nang, Hoi An and Quang Binh.

1. Phu Yen

This is one of the provinces in the Middle of Vietnam, which has a lot of iconic natural scenes. And the most famous place is Ganh Da Dia (the Cliff of Plate-shaped Stones). The coastline in Phu Yen hasn't been touristic exploited as much as some other provinces so you can still feel the nature vibes around.

2. Da Nang

Da Nang is known as one of the most 3 developed cities in Vietnam, together with Hanoi and Hochiminh City. It has most of the facilities of a economically developed but still includes the natural places with great views such as My Khe beach, Ngu Hanh Son mountainous area, Son Tra peninsula, Ban Co peak, etc., and many entertainment destination like Asia park with the highest wheel in Asia, Helio Game center with almost the greatest indoor and outdoor game machines. Don't forget the signature bridges also.

3. Hoi An

Have you ever heard about Faifo? It the old name of an ancient town, which is Hoi An nowadays. The price of Hoi An comes from the ancient view of a town maintaining through ages. But the lights and the lanterns make this town priceless, which scene you will never forget if you come here on 14th every month, Lunar calendar.

To save the transportation fee, we use UBER for moving inside the provinces, and UBER Auto can be shared if you go with your group then.

4. Quang Binh

This province includes the largest cave in the world, Son Doong. However, it is not the only one cave in Quang Binh. We don't have much time here so we decide to visit the Paradise Cave, a large and dry one. There is a stream named Mooc, flows between these mountains with a strange color of water. You can also try out mud bath service in some dark cave.
